How Career Gem verifies jobs

Every job here is read from the company’s own hiring pages. There are no recruiters, staffing agencies or reposting sites in between, and every Apply button goes to the company’s own application form.

Each company is re-checked every few hours. When a company takes a job down, it disappears from Career Gem on the next check, and we also check a job live when you open it. If the same description comes back under a new listing, we count it as a repost and show you its history.

What we can and can’t tell you

We know when a job was first listed, whether it is still up right now, how long it has been open and how often the company has reposted it. We can’t see a hiring manager’s intentions, so a ghost-job warning is always shown with its evidence rather than as a verdict.
