Career Gem is a job search service with an AI assistant called Sage, made by Lumen AI (“we”). By using Career Gem you agree to these terms.

Accounts

You can search without an account. A free account lets you see every result and keep saved jobs, searches and your tracker. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account by contacting us.

Job listings

Listings link to the employer’s own application page. We don’t employ, recruit for or represent employers, and we can’t promise a listing is still open, accurate or that a role will be filled. We never charge you to apply.

Career Gem Plus

  • Plus, weekly: $12.99 every week, includes 15 Sage credits every week.
  • Plus, monthly: $29.99 every month, includes 50 Sage credits every month.
  • Plus, 3 months: $69.99 every 3 months, includes 50 Sage credits every month plus 25 bonus credits each time it renews.

Auto-renewal. Plus is a subscription that renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. Payment is taken when you subscribe and at each renewal. If you subscribed in the iPhone app, Apple bills you through your Apple ID and Apple’s terms also apply.

Cancel any time. On the web, cancel from your account page. In the iPhone app, cancel in your Apple ID settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions) at least 24 hours before the period ends. After you cancel, Plus stays on until the end of the period you already paid for and does not renew.

Sage credits

Sage actions (company research, prep plans, mock interviews, resume tailoring and polish, “Add to Sage”) use credits. Any signed-in account can buy Gem AI packs (Gem Starter, 25 credits, $14.99; Gem Boost, 75 credits, $39.99; Gem Max, 200 credits, $89.99); Plus members pay the member price ($11.99 / $29.99 / $64.99), which needs an active plan when you buy. Pack credits never expire. Plan credits refill each period, do not roll over, and can only be used while the plan is active.

Credits have no cash value, can’t be transferred, and are non-refundable, with one exception: if Sage fails to finish an action you were charged for, the credits are returned to your account automatically. Refunds for subscriptions bought in the iPhone app are handled by Apple. If a payment is refunded or reversed, the plan or credits it bought are removed (credits already used stay used).

Sage’s output

Sage is an AI. Its research, advice, interview feedback and resume edits can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything important, and only submit a resume that is true. Sage is told never to invent experience, but you are responsible for what you send to employers.

Fair use

Don’t misuse Career Gem: no scraping, automated bulk access, attempts to break security, or use that harms other people. We may limit or close accounts that do.

Changes and liability

We may change the service or these terms; if a change affects a paid plan, we’ll tell you before it applies to your next renewal. Career Gem is provided as is; to the extent the law allows, Lumen AI isn’t liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
